Let's keep it real. Unless you are in the one percent, the Republican party is not for you, period. For example, if the House Republicans gave half a damn, why would they not pass one of the 23 jobs bills, half of which were jobs to maintain our infrastructure? They were willing to allow the country to into default for the first time in history and they REFUSED unemployment benefits at, of all times, Christmas, unless President Obama extended the Bush tax cuts for at least two more years. For the past three years and throughout the Republican presidential campaign, all the GOP has done has bashed President Obama. House Speaker Boehner has done nothing to advance the Republican cause, thus, leading HIS congress to a historical job approval low of 13.2%. The presidential contenders don't fair much better. They have yet set forth any kind of policy or agenda that would put the country on the right track considering they have done nothing but lied about President Obama's policies. Surely, they must have something that makes sense and is equitable to the majority of the electorate and not all that silly stuff they have been spewing on the campaign trail. And should Romney become the nominee, all that lying and bad ad running won't work once you are in the big leagues. President Obama has already proven he can be president. It will be the Republican nominee's job to convince the electorate WHY and HOW he would make a better one.
