When Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey had the opportunity to bring jobs to his state by building a commuter rail tunnel which would have eased traffic between New Jersey and New York, he turned it down. How can Republicans run on the economy against President Obama when they choose to deliberately thwart all efforts that would put Americans back to work? The Beltway media needs to stop giving Republicans a pass and start asking Republicans why they continue to get in the way of progress.
